Our house is a large 4 bedroom Charentais house in a hilltop village with panoramic views over vineyards and the Gironde Estuary. Comfortable sitting room with Satellite TV/DVD, large sliding patio windows. Large dining room. Fully equipped kitchen with American fridge leading on to dining terrace with gas BBQ. Utility room with washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer and extra drinks fridge. Stairs to galleried landing. Master bedroom with double bed and ensuite shower room. Bedroom 2 with double bed. Bathroom with shower over bath. Bedroom 3 with single bed and put-u-up. Bedroom 4 on ground floor with twin beds or made up as king size. Downstairs shower room and wc.

Our holiday home is ideally situated in a rural setting but close enough to walk to the village baker for those delicious croissants for breakfast. The large grassed garden with shrubs and fruit trees contains the swimming pool area. The pool 30ftx15ft with Roman shallow end and spa jet system. Sun bathing area with sun loungers.Poolside Solar shower.Poolhouse with fridge and all equipment for outdoor dining. Covered pool terrace with sink, dining tables and chairs. Large stone barbecue at poolside.
By car the delightful seaside resort of Royan is only 25 mins away as is the historic city of Saintes. Cognac and Bordeaux are less than an hour's drive.
